Hello Everyone, I’m Penny P. Parker. I’m 6 years old and this is my dog named Puppy. I’m the main character in the Penny P. Parker book series and your host for this blog. You’re probably wondering how this all came about. It’s really very simple. The lady who writes my stories, Sandra Ellen Lefcoe, and the lady who draws me, Kailyn Dickason, thought it might be fun to start a blog, but didn’t have time to run it themselves. As I was listening to their conversation from the other room, I thought to myself how much fun that would be to have your own blog. So, I called out as loud as I could ME! ME! MEI I CAN DO THIS! I CAN DO THIS! To my surprise they said YES!!
So, let’s get started.

I wasn’t sure what the topic for the day was going to be, as this was my first blog post but then I got a text from one of my friends telling me her sister, who was in kindergarten , was having a hard time remembering her ABC’S. Could I help? I remembered how my mom helped me remember my ABC’S. She taught me how to sing the ABC song and the more I sang it the easier it became to remember my ABC’S. Come on, let’s sing them together.

Riddle number 1
I have soft fur.
I hop in bushes.
I wiggle my little nose.
And thump my great big feet.

Excuse me a minute, my mom is sending me a text. She wants to know what I want for my snack this afternoon. I have a lot of favorite snacks, but my very favorite is The Penny Special. It’s slices of banana, a handful of chopped walnuts, cut up pieces of a chocolate bar…yum… and my very favorite topping …lots and lots of whipped cream. Oh my gosh, this is sooooo delicious. I love snacks, don’t you? I’ll send mom back a text right now.
I guess I’d better be going now, I’m really hungry. And I want to help mom in the kitchen. I love to cook.
